KATHUA, Sept 2 : Member Legislative Council, Subash Gupta, today laid foundation stone of a multi-purpose community hall at Hiranagar which would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 55 lakh sanctioned under CDF. Gupta said that the coalition Government is committed for balanced development of all the three regions of the State, adding that a massive developmental programme has been launched to develop every nook and corner. Gupta informed that the upcoming complex will have rooms, kitchen, toilet and halls with capacity to accommodate about 2000 persons at a time, apart from having parking facilities. He said on completion of the hall, the people of Hiranagar town and adjoining villages would be able to arrange religious as well as social functions on nominal fee. Later, Gupta distributed IAY cheques among 22 beneficiaries amounting Rs. 48000 each. |
