Jammu, Sept 2: Police arrested one narcotic smuggler and recovered over one kgs of poppy straw (bhukki) from his possession during a raid in Udhampur today, police sources said. "The accused has been identified namely as Darshan Kumar a resident of Adarsh Colony, police sources said. According to the police reports, acting on the inputs, police started checking at MH Chowk in Udhampur during which they intercepted an auto, which was on coming from Bus Stand.
During the search of the auto police recovered one kgs of poppy straw and arrested auto driver on the spot. |
