SRINAGAR, Sept 2: Young Lal Chowk today registered a fine 3-1 win over Shaheen Sports to strengthen their position in the Division-A match of the Power Development Corporation (PDC) League Football Tournament of DFA Srinagar at Polo Ground, here.
Earlier, Mohd Asif netted the first goal in the 15th minute to help the side take first lead. The lead was further improved by Ishfaq in the second half striking in the 39th minute. Abid netted the ball for third goal for the team in the 61st minute. From Shaheen Sports, Talib reduced the margin.
Meanwhile, in Super Division tie, Arfat Sports made it a one-sided contest against Young Maharaja beating latter by three goals to nil. Tanzib scored two goals striking in the 45th and 60th minute while Imran netted the ball in the 55th minute. |
