J&K Food, allied workers union stages protest against CAPD Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 2: Jammu and Kashmir Food and allied workers union today staged protest in front of the Assistant Director (T/S) CAPD. According to press release, union president Bishan Dass said that the department ignored genuine demands of workers such as untimely payment of monthly wages, non-implementation of provident fund scheme in mufassil depots, non-implementation of ESI scheme in mufassil depots, non-payment of lead wage in city supplies Jammu, non-payment of wages for stacking of food-grain bags above the height of 10, non-functional of weighing bridge at new store and Chatha store, lack of bask amenities like, drinking water, toilet, bathroom and labour shed and depilated condition of godowns. They appealed the authorities to concede these genuine demands at earliest and to avoid disruption in smooth functioning of department. |
