Jammu, Sept 2: Lovely Sharma, and social worker R Vijay Magotra from Jammu and Kashmir were honored in a function organized by the "Vishav Mahila Parivar" at New Delhi, on "Role of Women and Media on the conservation of Environment.
The function was presided by Ex Judge. Shambu Nath Srivastav, and Nitu Chandra, Pt. Narinder Sharma, Somdatt, Mohani ji, Brij Mohan Sharma, and ex Mahilla Ratan Alapna Tayagi were present .
A cultural programme was also organized by the children. The president of the organization disclosed that only 28 persons were selected for conferring of Women and Media Rattan, on the basis of the decision given by the jury.
The organization took oath to plant 11 crore plants in near future. It was also stressed upon all the citizens to plant at least one plant to save the earth and to make pollution free environment. |
