Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 6: Taking serious note of the alleged practice of sexual exploitation going on in the 'Rotary Inner Wheel Home For Mentally Retarded Children" at Channi Rama, Bahu Fort Development Committee spokesperson, Ishant Gupta Friday demanded stern action against all the culprits who were involved in sexually exploiting girls inmates in Jammu. The BFDC spokesperson Gupta said that it was very shameful that some persons running NGOs exploited mentally challenged girls. Pressing for stern action, he demanded that the accused should be given death penalty without going through a lengthy court trial. He said that rape incidents have risen in Jammu and Kashmir and urged the government to take it seriously. He claimed the weak enforcement of law is one reason for the rise in crime in J&K.
