Kathua, Sept 6: Rang Boomi in collaboration with State Bank of India today organized "Kahan Kho Gayaa Nari Ka Samaan" in the premises of the Rajiv Gandhi College of Education at Kathua.
DC Kathua was the chief guest and SP Kathua was the guest of honour on the occasion. While speaking on the occasion the students said that we should keep focus on the creating the awareness on issues of respect and safeguard of women and oppose the gender discrimination in socio-economic and political fields, oppose western culture that leads to negative impact on the youth and to promote and preserve old aged respect and dignity of the women.
While expressing their serious concerns regarding the worst condition of the women DC Jatinder Singh and SP Mohan Lal said that the people should be united against any kind violence on women so that they could be protected and safeguarded. |
