JAC appeals employed fraternity to observe three days strike

Jammu, Sept 6: J&K Govt employees Joint Action Committee have appealed employed fraternity to observe three days strike ( 9th- to 11th Sept) on the call given by JCC.
A press conference in this regard was held by J&K Govt. employees Joint Action Committee under the president- ship of S. Kulwant Singh President J&K Govt. employees & Joint Action Committee.
Addressing, they expressed their anguish over the anti-employees & anti-workers attitude of the Govt. The Govt. is back tracking from the written agreement made/ signed between the JCC leadership and Govt. representative on 15th Sep. 2011.
It is Pertinent to mention here that the employees are on struggle for their just and genuine demands, it was observed in the conference.
The demands included removal of pay anomalies of different cadres, declaration of the policy for regularization of daily rated workers who have completed 7 years of service after 1994, settlement of the grievances of public sector employees, Rehbar-e-Taleem, Anganwari workers, regulation, promotion of different cadre and also implementation of the DA order in favour PSU employees and enhancement of retirement age from 58 years to 60 years
They appealed to all sections of employees, union, associations, federation to remain united and make three days strike a grand success on 9th Sept. The employees shall hold demonstration at all the distt. head quarterr and on 10th and 11th of Sept 2013 observe the complete "Kaam Chhoro Hartal' through out the state, the further course of action which will be decided after 11th Sep 2013 in the meeting of JCC leadership
The leaders appealed the civil society, lawyers, traders, students, journalists, peoples from print and electronic media and people from all walks of life to bear with them, during the fight against the anti employee and anti people policy of the Govt. The prominent present in the meeting include S. Kulwant Singh, Shahid Hussain, Rohit George, Raju Kumar, Ranjit Singh, Suresh Kumar, S. Ravinder Singh, ( planning deptt.) Yash Pal Singh, Shubash Chander, Achit Kumar , S. Amrik Singh, Tanvir Singh,. Balbir Singh, Tilak Raj, Manohar Lal Sh. Kamaljit Singh, Parveen Kumar, Parshotam Lal, Jagmit Singh , Kulesh Kumar S. Manjit Singh, Gaganvir, Manzair Ali, Pal Ram, S. Parminder Singh, Naresh Kumar, Mushtaq Ahmed, Raghbir Singh ,Naresh Kumar, S. Gurbachan Singh, Randev Singh, S. Manjit Singh, Ajit Singh and many others .
