JAMMU, Sept 6:Dogra Degree College today organized workshop on insurance by Life insurance Corporation (LIC).
All this was done in lieu of celebrating LIC week to mark the 57th years of service of LIC.
LIC is a leading insurance group and investment company in India that organized a one day workshop in the campus of "Dogra Degree College" in order to provide knowledge to the students of BBA/BCA courses regarding the workings of an Insurance company and in order to give them exposure of various opportunities of placement and growth in the sector.
The team was headed by Vijay Gupta (branch manager), Jagjeet Singh (development officer) and with Khajuria (assistant branch manager). They briefed the students regarding the working of LIC and emphasized that this entity has the aim of promoting education, elevation of poverty and providing better living condition for the under privileges. They also extended on opportunity for the budding managers to join LIC as a carrier and also promised handsome stipends during the probationary periods.
