Jammu, Sep 7: Breast Cancer awareness programme was organized by Medanta Mediconsult Centre, Super Specialty OPD Jammu at Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Nardni, Jammu.
According to press release, the Chairman of the Institute Dr. Roop Lal Sharma and Suman, Chairperson welcomed Dr Kanchan Kour, Consultant Medanta Breast Service. She gave informative lecture about the risk factors, self examination of breast and prevention of the disease.
The specialists and PG Scholars of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research from various specialties attended the programme. There was a healthy discussion and interaction on the disease and the questions raised by Dr.Vishal Khanna and Dr.Abhineet Raina were satisfactorily replied by Dr Kanchan Kour.
Dr. Monika Gupta read the vote of thanks and a memento was presented by Dr. Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman to Dr. Kanchan Kour, Consultant. She also conveyed her thanks to the management of the Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research for allowing Medanta Mediconsult Centre to organize such type of programme in the service of humanity. She assured that such programmes will be organized in future also.
