| Mobile Computing Lab opens at MIET | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sep 7: First of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir, Mobile Computing Lab opened at MIET which was setup under financial assistance of the AICTE.
Prof. IK Bhat, Director, MNIT Jaipur and Prof. Awasthi inaugurated the Mobile Computing Lab.
The laboratory will undertake research in mobile computing and specialize in developing mobile applications which is a fast-growing industry-vertical. The lab which shall operate under the Computer Science department shall also undertake student trainings and projects in the mobile domain. Prof. Bhat appreciated the institution for taking such initiatives especially in setting up advanced technological infrastructure for both faculty and student development. Prof. Awasthi too provided key inputs for the successful operation of the center.
Prof. Bhat and Prof. Awasthi then conducted a half-day workshop on "NBA Accreditation: Outcomes-Based Process" which is aligned with the new process of accreditation adopted in India by the National Board for Accreditation under the Washington Accord. |
