| BJP leaders give audience to peoples' complaints, assure redressal | | | Early Times Report Ramban, Sept 7: Large numbers of local people from Ramban have expressed a long list of problems being faced by them in the area and also complaint against the various administrations. They were attending a meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party which was held today at Kaskoot, Banihal and Ukhral under the leadership of Kr. Rajeev Charak - State Convener BJP Training Cell who was accompanied by Vijay Mohan Thakur - District President, & Ramban, Nardh Singh - District Vice President, Ramban. Rajeev Charak said that the people of the area complained that there was no facility of blood bank for the patients at Banihal hospital & they have to face many difficulties. He said that the people also complained that the government doctors of the area are more busy in running there private clinics and as such they were missing from government hospitals during there working hours. They said that the Primary Health Centre at Mangit has no specialized doctors and it was run by medical assistants only. He was also apprised that there was no gynecologist doctor at Primary Health Centre at Ukhral and during night hours the center is vacant. Charak added that the people also complained that the Degree College, Banihal has two buses but these buses were all the time seen parked inside the college premises and were not used for transport purpose for students by the administration. Also the Gujjar hostels were misused by the administration as they were given to some other peoples for living rather than students. Meanwhile, Vijay Mohan Thakur also heard complaints of the peoples and found that Government Higher Secondary School Banihal has total 14 computers but now the situation is that the institute has only two computers and 12 computers are missing from the premises. Thakur said that the administration has started work to make Muhun Mangit road in the year 2007 but till date the road was incomplete and the passers have to face difficulties. He added that many crores were sanctioned for Ukhral Senabathi Road but till today the road was incomplete and in this regards he said that the people demanded inquiry about the funds which are sanctioned for the road. While concluding the whole meeting, Charak thanked all the deputationists for being a part of meeting and expressed their complaints in front of them. He said that the State Government and MLA of the area has failed in all aspects to provide facilities to the peoples of the area. He heard the deputationists very patiently and assured them that he will take up all their complaints with the concerned departments and will try his level best to redress their complaints as early as possible. |
