Financial literacy camps held across north Kashmir
Daver in Gurez gets JK Bank ATM

Srinagar, Sept 7: J&K Bank ATM network in North Kashmir went up to 81 when it pressed an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) into public service at Daver in Gurez. Overall network of ATMs of the bank has risen to 697.
The bank also conducted financial awareness camps across the north Kashmir.
Minister of State for Agriculture and PHE Nazir Ahmad Gurezi inaugurated the ATM in presence of Mohd Sultan Kaboo, bank's Zonal Head (North) and other valuable customers of the bank.
Speaking on the occasion Nazir Ahmad hailed the services of the Bank especially the installation of ATM in remotest village of the district.
He said, "This bank belongs to the people of J&K and we have lot of expectations from it. We appreciate the services provided by the Bank staff to the people of this state."
Urging the bank's management for speedy disposal of sponsored cases, he said, "The bank needs to contribute to the welfare of people living in the remotest parts of state under their CSR as they have been doing in other parts."
Zonal Head reiterated the bank's commitment towards people of J&K irrespective of their location and status.
He said, "This ATM is in the remotest area of District Bandipora. Besides, taking the world class banking and financial services to the doorsteps of people, the bank is in the process of covering all the villages under its financial inclusion programme so that the benefit of financial development reaches to every village of the state."
He assured the minister that the matter will be taken up with management and said that all the cases sponsored by the developmental agencies were sanctioned as on date.
Meanwhile, Zonal Head also chaired the financial literacy camps at village Bagtore, Izamarg, Kanzalwan Tulel, Baduab, Gujran and Chakwali Tulel besides having interaction with the students of higher secondary school Izamarg, higher secondary school Badugam Tulel and at Degree College Gurez.
The speakers at the camps gave details of the various financial products and schemes of the bank and impressed upon people to take advantage of these.
Cluster Head, Director RSETI, LDM and Facilitator FLCC Bandipora also spoke on the occasion.
