| AIGM convention to project community demands today | | | Et Report JAMMU, Sept 7: All India Gujjar Mahasabha (AIGM) is going to organize a convention at Nagrota tomorrow to highlight various demands of the community. Addressing a press conference here today, the AIGM leadership said that the community is facing a lot of hardships and the government needs to mitigate their sufferings in a time bound manner. The Gujjar leaders said that in order to highlight the plight of the community, a convention is going to be held at Nagrota wherein the main demands of establishing Gujjar colonies wherein the Khanabadosh Gujjars be accommodated, regularization of existing colonies where the Khanabadosh Gujjars and Bakkerwals are residing, inducting Gojri language under the eighth schedule of the Constitution will be discussed in detail. |
