KATHUA, Sept 15:An awareness rally on bikes is organized by Shakti Punj, a social organization Hiranagar on the theme topic "Save Water".
The rally was flagged off by SP Mohan Lal, SDPO Chadwal along with BMO Hiranagar Onkar Nath , Swami Suraj, Swami Krishnanand, Bar Association President Yash Pal Chodhary and educated citizens of Hiranagar town.After brief address by SP Mohan Lal the rally was flagged off from tehsil headquarter office Hiranagar.
More than fifty bikes lead by Vice- President Udhay Singh, General Secretary, Lukhinder Singh,Organizer Kuljeet having placards passed through different villages of Hiranagar tehsil as Hiranagar town, Jandi, Kattal, Sherpur, Bana Chack, Jangi Chack, Chakra, Mathura Chack, Haripur, Marheen, Changi, Bani, Sanjimorh, Khanpur, Baniyari, Hariachack, Mukandur, Dollian and culminated at Kotepunu. In return the passed through Raghbagh, Chani, Chadwal , Dayalachak , Hiranagar Morh and reached back at Tehsil office.
Volunteers of the organization were reciting slogans like " jal hai too kal hai', "pani bachaoo desh bachao "save water, save life" and also distributing resource material in the form of pamphlets to aware the general mass. |
