JAMMU, Sept 15: With an aim to strengthen All India Jat Mahasabha (AIJM) J&K at grass root level, the Mahasabha has announced the formation of tehsil level committees. In a meeting of the executive committee held here at Satwari under the chairmanship of president of AIJM, Manmohan Singh wherein the committee after lengthy discussions reached a consensus on constituting Tehsil level committees. Followed by congratulations by the President and the members to the newly constituted committee members, they instilled their hopes that the new committee members will coordinate and employ their efforts towards strengthening the organization and they will come forward to get issues resolved of people at every level. On the occasion, President Manmohan Singh informed the gathering about his meeting with Ambika Soni, General Secretary AICC during her recent Jammu visit. Manmohan informed that Soni assured the AIJMS J&K delegation, in the presence of Congress Ministers, to resolve refugees issues within two months time period. He emphasized that to get their issues resolved, all the community need to stand as one and integrate their efforts. In the meeting, all members sympathized over difficulties of border area residents, their hard living conditions due to cross border firing, land mines and floods.
