JYBT to observe ‘Pitr Paksh’, Navratras at Haridwar

Jammu, Sept 15: Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT) is going to organize religious discourses and functions at Haridwar during upcoming Pitr Paksh and Navratras.
As per programme Pinddhan in honour of one's ancestors would be performed along with the offering of meals as per the religious beliefs to the Brahmins at trust's Haridwar Bhawan under the guidance of highly competent religious scholars and priests.
Similarly the Navratras will also be celebrated there from October 5 to 13 with the nine days long 'Shat Chandi Path' followed by 'Yagya' in keeping with Hindu sanskriti.
While addressing a press conference president JYBT, Pawan Shastri said that those desirous to take part in 9 days long Chandi Path and Yagya should reach Haridwar on October 4, 2013 and those who cannot stay for 9 days could participate in Chandi Yagya only on its Puran Ahuti.
