Jammu, Sept 15: A meeting was held about Globathon walk to end women cancer on 29th September. The deaths due to cancer are more in populations where public awareness events are organized. Awareness at state level can occur through media coverage of the events amide for education of public. Globathon walk is an event to eradicate women's cancer. The meeting was held under the chairman ship of Dr. Kasturi Lal Ex Principal Medical College. He addressed the meeting and told that the walk would start at 8:30 am on 29th September 2013. Venues for the walk shall be University of Jammu Campus, Women College Parade, Women College Gandhi nagar and U.P Hr. Sec. School Channi Himmat. Ram paul Sharma Social worker, Shashi Gupta Principal Medical College, Dr. Jasbir Singh Ex. Director Health, S.K Jain and other eminent members were also present in the meeting. |
