| One killed, 4 injured in Ramban mishap | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAMBAN, Sept 15: A minor was killed and four others including three minors were wounded when a car met with a mishap on a link road in Ramban district on Sunday.
According to the police, the mishap occurred when a car bearing registration number CH04-9228 was heading for Ramban from Gool area.
Police further said that driver of the car lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve on a link road following which the vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge leaving a 6 year old boy dead and four others including father of the deceased, critically injured. The deceased was identified as Zayan Iqbal son of Mohammed Iqbal of Seri area of Ramban. Police, on receiving information, rushed there and shifted injured to the District Hospital for treatment.
The injured, according to the police identified as Mohammed Iqbal, his two daughters Sehrish (13 year old), Sahika Iqbal (11 year old) and a neighbour's son namely Nageshwar (8) son of Bihari Lal all the residents of Seri area. |
