early time report Jammu, Sept 16 :A three day Capacity Building Training of District Resource Persons and ASHA facilitators on supervisory skills under National Rural Health Mission began today at Regional Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Nagrota. The said training is part of various skill enhancement initiatives taken under NRHM, J&K and is being held under the supervision of Mission directorate NRHM, J&K and was inaugurated by Dr BS Pathania, Director Health Services, Jammu. About 60 participants including community health officers, health educators and medical officers are being trained for the on ground execution of centrally sponsored schemes. It is the three day training in which different Programs under NRHM will be delivered. The training started with the introduction of NRHM and the new initiatives and schemes under NRHM. The training will include the lectures on Maternal Health, Child Health, Adolescent Health, Home Based Newborn Care, Reporting Formats, Supervising tools used for Monitoring at field level. The newly schemes launched under NRHM namely RBSK (Rashtray Bal Suraksha Karyakaram), new incentives for ASHAs under NRHM will also be discussed.
