Rajouri , Oct 6: Elections of JKRET Teachers Forum was held today under the supervision of election committee comprising Jahangir Khan, Tariq Chowdhary, Amit Metha and Aftab Malik in which all the zonal presidents participated.
In the election all the six candidates withdrew their candidature in favour of Aftab Tantray and elected him uncontested distt president for next 2 years tenure. Other office bearers elected included Uttam Singh as senior vice president, Mujeeb Malik as vice president, Shoket Mir as general secretary, Parveen Kumar as secretary, Liquet Chowdhary as chief organizer, Jasvir Singh, Deepak Sharma and Arshad Mirza as organizers, Shamiem Malik as chief spokesperson and Maroof Chowdhary as spokesperson, Barinder Bardwar as chief coordinator, Farooq Chowdhary and Anwar Anjum as coordinators, Talib Tabi as chief advisor, Ayaz Malik Aftab, Mughal Sharz Qazi and Asharaf Chowan as advisors, Umaer Din and Shafiat Khan as joint secretaries, Kapil Sharma and and Imtiaz as press secretaries, Arif Khan as cashier and Hanief Shah as convener. |
