| SIEF expresses concern over crime against women | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 6: Speak India Environmental Foundation (SIEF) and Trevani Kala Kunj (TKK) today expressed serious concern over crime against women.
In function organized here at Baba Ballo Dev College of Paramedical Sciences Kathua in collaboration with Speak India Environmental Foundation and Trevani Kala Kunj under the joint leadership of Coordinator Deepa Sharma, SIEF and Dr. Usha Moga President of the TKK.
The Chief Guest of the function was Popinder Singh Paras Editor of Punjabi Shiraja, where he released his Punjabi collection of rare poems of Punjabi Shiraja. Speaking on the occasion he said that women were brutally raped killed and murdered in the society. "Our main agenda should be empowered women so that they can regain the position which they have lost in the present scenario", he added. Various poets have participated namely Vijay Sharma, Shashi Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Harzinder Singh and Neelam. SIEF honored the Chief Guest for his outstanding performance in Punjabi literature. |
