Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 6: Extending full support to employees on strike, Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) has appealed chief minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene in the matter. According to press release, a meeting of JKTF was held at Kathua, in which they requested Chief Minister to get the agreement implemented signed between the high power committee and JCC representatives on 8th July 2012. Members said that invoking "ESMO,, on employees was not a solution to curb the voice of the employees. "Constitution of India allows and gives the right of freedom of speech, expression, organize protests and rallies to seek Justice from the authorities/government", they said, adding that invoking ''ESMO,, is not in favour of the state government. Forum members demanded the immediate release of all arrested leaders and employees by revoking ''ESMO", on its employees. Those attended the meeting were S. Puran Singh, S. Surjit Singh, Amar Nath Thakur, Mohd Sadiq, Sh. Subash Sharma, Bharat Bhushan and Balbir Singh. |
