| Emroz Suri quits politics | | Says changed definition of politics forced him to quit | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 6: Political parties received a major surprise today in Rajouri district when a fire brand youth leader Emroz Suri , who was recently appointed as the chief spokesperson of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha, resigned from his political career and pledged to serve the society as a journalist and social activist.
He said that this step has been taken following change in definition of politics.
While addressing a press conference here in Rajouri, Emroz Suri said that he had come into the arena to serve society but present day politics did not fulfill his expectation. He said that the definition of politics has been changed and he realized it after working some time for different political parties.
After putting his point, Emroz announced to resign from his political career and said that from now onwards he will keep serving his society as a journalist and as a social activist. He also said that as a social activist, he will keep on helping society and administration in maintaining peace in the area and will take all steps for strong communal harmony and religious brotherhood.
It is pertinent here to mention that Emroz Suri , who is journalist from Rajouri and is also vice president of Rajouri Press Council, was recently appointed as chief spokesperson of BJYM. |
