Jammu, Oct 6 : Accusing the administration of Central University of Jammu (CUJ) for its failure to start construction work on the campus, National Secular Forum (NSF) took out a Strong protest in University Campus to express dissatisfaction over the functioning of the Central University. The protestors led by Sukhdev Singh President NSF, activitists were raising slogans against the Vice-Chancellor for not taking note of their demands and maintaining stoic silence over the entire matter.
Singh criticized the working of Central University Vice-Chancellor and also to show there resentment against delay in coming up construction work in Central University of Jammu and no check accountability in functioning of Central University Jammu.
He said the varsity has become a rehabilitation center for retired and corrupt officials. "The varsity administration has violated the norms by recruiting the retired teachers and other staff members. As per the Central University Statutes, the serving officials should not be above 65 years but the administration has recruited some teachers who are above 65years," he said.
Among those who were present in the protest included, Akshey Sharma, Barket Ali, Vikram Madhyal, Qayoom Malik, Javed, Sanjeev Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Narinder Singh and Rishikesh Rana. |
