| SSK organises seminar | | |  early times report
Jammu, Oct 6: A one day seminar on the topics--Vivekananda: An inspiration to Youth and Role of new generation for preservation of Kashmiri culture was held at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra (SSK), today . A K Raina, (Retd) Director School Education was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Professor T N Shalla presided over the function.
Students, of 16 schools spoke in the seminar Akanksha Pandita of S O S School Gole Gujral and Isha Bharti of SOS School were adjudged the best speakers on the two topics of the seminar. Prof. Sunil Tikoo, Smt. Promila Koul and Bindraban Sher acted as judges.
In today's function, six speakers of the seminar and 55 top ranking students of third Gyan Pratiyogita 2013 were awarded commendation certificates and other prizes. Students who ranked over all Ist, 2nd, and 3rd (both in Junior and Senior Groups) of 3rd Gyan Pratiyogita 2013 were given cash prizes by Smt. Dhanvati Shalla Memorial Foundation, Jammu.
Chief guest A K Raina stressed for preservation of and promotion of old aged culture by way of organizing of such functions. Professor T N Shalla a senior trustee of the Kendra threw a brief lights upon the activities of Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra. Sh. S N Raina Coordinator of program presented vote of thanks.
