Kathua, Oct 9: One day inter district speedball championship was held at Delhi Public School Rajbagh, Kathua recently. The championship was organised by Department of Youth Service and Sports.
In this championship 6 school with more than 100 students participated. Closing ceremony chief guest was A.S Nehra (principal DPS) and special guest S K Choltra (dist officer DYSS) and guest officer bearers of youth service department.
Organizing secretary Sunny Nanda was also present who presented the vote of thanks. Shastri memorial High School ( Hirapur, Kathua ) was the overall champion and Delhi Public School (Rajbagh) was the runner up while Rose Public School (kathua) came third. The winner of Shastri Memorial High School students in solo event were Vishal Sharma (SMS), Sonia Verma(SMS), single event Robin Singh (SMS), Meena Kumari (SMS), mix double Shivani Khajuria & Aman Kumar (SMS) men double Romit Sharma & Sanjay Sharma(SMS) girls double Neha Devi & Kamini Sharma (SMS). |
