| JU marksheets to carry now photographs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu,Oct 9: The Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, today inaugurated the in-house computerized results with photographs of the candidates on the marks certificates of MCA 6th Semester examination 2013.
This step of the in-house computer section of the examination wing shall lead to total computerization of the candidate record i.e from enrolment to the issuance of the degree electronically.
The registration returns (RR) of all the post graduate courses were obtained on-line from various post graduate departments on the campus, offsite campuses and the affiliated PG colleges.
The internal assessment records of all the post graduate courses were also obtained on-line for the session 2012-13.
Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar Vice-Chancellor while congratulating Prof Keshav Sharma, the Controller of Examinations and his team especially Dr. Dharminder Magotra (Dy. Registrar Computer Section) and Ravi Kant Verma (Assistant Programmer) said that from now onwards all the students of the professional courses, where computerization has been introduced, shall get their mark certificates and degrees with photographs from the session 2013 onwards in first phase.
It is expected that this innovation will reduce the chances of misuse through impersonation as well as the need for attestation which is currently a major source of inconvenience for most of the students. In the second phase, this process shall be introduced to other Post Graduate courses as well.

Secretary to Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Avtar Singh Jasrotia Dr. Prakash, Romesh Khajuria, Deputy Registrar Eval (NP), Vinay Thusoo (PRO), Nikhilesh Sharma (Assistant Programmer), Ram Lal (Sr. P.A to Controller of Examinations) and Akhilesh Sharma, Liaison Officer. |
