New Delhi, Oct 9: Life Insurance Corporation of India the largest life insurance company of the country organized 42nd Chairman's Club member Agents convention at Thyagaraj Stadium, New Delhi. About 4300 Chairman Club Agents from two zones of LIC viz South Central Zone and East Central Zone attended the convention.
The convention was presided by S K Roy, Chairman, LIC. Other top officials of LIC, Shusobhan Sarker, Managing Director, S B Mainak, Managing Director, Shri RR Dash, Executive Director (Marketing), A P Singh, Zonal Manager (North Zone) and Shri Rajesh Kandwal, Principal, Zonal Training Centre, Gurgaon also attended the convention. Speaking on the occasion S K Roy, Chairman spoke about the fantastic performance of the corporation during the month of September and Rs 1988 crs of First Premium income was procured in a single day on 30.09.2013.
He praised the team of LIC Agents who could leverage the opportunity of closure of plans by IRDA and offer policies to their customers. He also extolled the Chairman Club Agents to work hard and aim to qualify for the prestigious MDRT(USA). Earlier Shri A P Singh, Zonal Manager (North Zone) welcomed the Agents and provided a glimpse of history which went into making the present day Delhi. The Managing Directors and Executive Directors also asked the Agents to be prepared for bigger challenges ahead and offer their best services to the policy holders. Senior CM Club Agents who attained the criteria continuously for 25 years were also honoured during the convention. |
