Jammu, Oct 9: National Secular Forum (NSF) Bishnah unit today held protest against Minister for Higher Education and against concerned Minister for not taking serious interests in the construction of a permanent building for the college in Bishnah.
Addressing gathering here today, Narinder Singh General Secretary NSF alleged the concerned MLA and Higher Education Minister of ignoring the construction of a permanent building for the college. He also said that Government Degree College Bishnah is operating in Higher Secondary School and lacks proper infrastructure because of which students suffer in their studies.
He said that Bishnah Degree College has arts stream only and the students are forced to join this stream.
He strongly opposed the concerned MLA that is not working for the people of constituencies. Addressing on the occasion, Surjit Singh Sidhu District Chairman NSF, demanded the construction of a permanent building for the college, at present housed on the premises of the Govt. Higher Secondary School (Boys). Among those who were present included Sandeep Singh, Parmjeet Singh Rajinder Singh, Koshal Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Parvinder Singh, Sunny Kumar and Satish Kumar. |
