Rajouri Shocker: One booked in minor's blind murder

Rajouri, Oct 9: Police has reportedly booked a suspect in the blind murder of minor boy who was kidnapped on Tuesday and his body with injury marks was found wrapped in a gunny bag from an under construction house situated in close vicinity of high security zone area housing residences of the DIG, DDC, SP and others senior officials.
Minor identified namely as Salik Mansoor student of Valley View Army Public School (VVAPS) Rajouri was found dead on Wednesday and his alleged abduction and killing has left locals shocked and grieved who later protested against failure of police in recovering the child. Police sources said that one person has been booked by the police in this regard.
However, police remained tight lipped about any arrest and not sharing vital information regarding the case. Meanwhile reliable sources said that the suspected accused belonged to Surankot of Poonch district and presently is putting up at Rajouri.
According to sources the police besides identifying accused involved in minor's killing have also identified the vehicle in which the child reportedly abducted and then killed.
Sources added that the father of the deceased (Salik mansoor) i.e. Mansoor Hussain, Patwari (Revenue Official) had some dispute with some people and reportedly was receiving threats from this bunch and the involvement of unidentified persons threatening Revenue officials too could not be ruled out.
Meanwhile police sources said, "Police is working on every angle to solve the blind murder case of the minor.
Meanwhile Rajesh Kumar IGP, Jammu who is on a tour to Rajouri along with Divisional Commission also visited the aggrieved family's house in Rajouri besides taking spot inspection of spot from where the body of the boy was recovered. He issued on spot directions to DIG and SSP to solve the murder case of the young boy at their earliest.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajouri, Mubassar Laitifi when contacted confirmed that the police have identified one of the suspect but it is too mature to divulge any information in this matter.
