Kathua, Oct 9: Traffic System is squarely handicapped in most of the parts of the Kathua and the lives of the thousands of the daily passengers and students are in danger and can face any major incident anytime and anywhere.
The passenger matadors on the Nagri-Kathua, roads are carrying the passenger more than its capacity loaded with passengers from top roof, backside, out of door in hanging condition. The loaded matadors mostly run on the road without proper control because of overloaded and are cause of threat to lives of thousands of the people. The most of the owners of the Matadors do their duty with only one motive to gain more and more profit by over loading the matadors more than actual capacity and violating the rules and regulations of the traffic. Most of the matadors overloaded with passengers are active and operating in Rajbagh-Baktha, Hatli-Kathua roads, Nagri-Kathua roads, Janglote-Patyari etc.
But the negligence of the traffic police surely will cause a major incidence while the traffic police men are almost found to be active to collect illegal money by harassing the gentle people of the society instead of managing the traffic system by making it effective and efficient.
The administration is seems quite over the crucial matter of traffic and busy in its own officials meetings and till date has not taken any strong and effective measures to make the better traffic system in Kathua. |
