EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 16: Bhagya Laxmi Charitable Trust launched another plantation drive in the Maharaja Hari Singh Park on the bank of Tawi River, near Hotel Fortune Rivera. In this programme large number of plants were planted for the welfare of local peoples, who used to come for morning walk in the park. The programme was inaugurated by Pranav Shagotra Vice President Pradesh Youth Congress J&K in the presence of Ashwani Sharma (Chairman, BLCT), Manmohan Kumar (Vice Chairman) and other volunteers who pledged to make Jammu and Kashmir a pollution free state by planting more trees. While lauding the volunteers of BLCT for such creating awareness among the general public the important of trees in human life, Shagotra said the work of NGO, virtually has taken lead in ensuring a clean and better environment in the periphery of city. "With the plantation drive, the park will come alive, he added. Anoop Gupta, Anil Kumar, Amit Gandotra, Ricky Dalhotra, Chetan Mehra (Gen Secy), Shivender Kumar (Secy),Varun Gupta (Org Secy), Sachin Gupta (Member), Abhishek, Sunil, Ganesh Kumar, Sachin Gupta, and Raj Kumar also participated in said drive.
