Jammu Oct 18: Prof Manoj K. Dhar, Registrar University of Jammu said that University of Jammu has emerged as a hub of academic activities, while speaking at the valedictory function of the three-day International seminar on the Republic in India, jointly organised by the Department of English and The Shakespeare Association (India). Prof. K.B Razdan, Key speaker of the function delivered the valedictory address. Prof. Razdan lauded the holding of such a seminar. He dwelt on various facets of the topic. The valedictory function was addressed by several resource persons who shared their experiences and gave their remarks on various sessions of the seminar. They include Prof. Paul Budra, Dr. Anand Prakash. Over 200 scholars from India and abroad participated and presented papers in the three-day Seminar. There were 30 Parallel and 7 Planery Sessions. The resource persons who delivered lectures during these sessions include Prof. R. S. White, University of Western Australia, Prof. Paul Budra, Dr. Carlina Sulzer, Vienna University, Dr. K. K. Rishi, Kurukshetra University, Prof. Anand Prakash, Delhi University, Prof. Tirthanklar Das Purkayatha, Vidya Sagar University, Prof. Raj. N. Bakshi, Lucknow University, Prof. A. K. Sharma, Central University, Jharkhand, Prof. Tejinder Kour, Punjabi University, Patiala, Prof. Seema Malik, M S U Udaipur, Prf. S. P. S.
