Jehangir Rashid SRINAGAR, Oct 18: The State Government has paid around seventy five lakh rupees as salary to officials who after getting superannuated from Government services were either re-employed or given extension in their services in their parent departments or different department since over the past one year. According to the information made available by General Administration Department, Rs. 74, 94, 449 were paid as salary to the re-appointed Government officials in the State since September 2012. This has been done despite a Government order banning re-employment or extending the services of retired officials. Inayatullah Khan who retired as Director, Forensic Science Laboratory was re-appointed on the same position on contract basis from September 2, 2012. Khan has received Rs. 6, 33, 000 as salary upto August 2013 after getting reappointed in his parent department. Harnam Chand Bhagat who retired as Deputy Director, Forensic Science Laboratory was re-appointed on the same position from September 2, 2012 and he has received Rs. 5, 16,000 as salary from September 2012 to August 2013. Thakur Singh who retired as Assistant Director was re-employed for one more year on the same position from December 1, 2012 and he has received Rs. 3, 65, 438 as salary upto August 2013. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah who retired as Information Officer was re-employed for one more year from March 1, 2013 and he has received Rs. 2, 41, 830 as salary for six months so far during this year. Tariq Ahmad Banday who retired as Secretary, State Human Rights Commission was re-employed for one more year from February this year. He has received Rs. 5, 80, 000 as salary upto August 2013. Dinesh Maini who retired as Deputy Registrar, State Accountability Commission was re-employed from February this year and has received Rs. 5, 75, 024 as salary upto August 2013. Ravi Kumar Magotra who retired as Director General, Accounts and Treasuries was re-employed as Chief Financial Consultant in Finance Department from May 2013. Magotra has received Rs. 4, 97, 000 as salary upto August this year. Rashim Kashyap who retired as Director, Resources and Institutional Finances was re-employed as head of 14th Finance Commission cell in Finance department. He has received Rs. 1, 20, 000 as salary upto July 2013. Syed Khursheed Qadri who retired as Director General, Archives, Archaeology and Museums was re-employed as Consultant in Tourism and Culture department from January 2013. Qadri has received Rs. 1, 89, 000 as salary upto August 2013. S C Sawhney after retiring from Government services was given the contractual job of Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan from May 1, 2013. He has received Rs. 4, 22, 157 as salary upto August 2013. Ghulam Ali who retired as Financial Controller, JKRRDA was re-employed as Consultant, JKRRDA for one year from March this year and he has received Rs. 6, 50, 000 as salary upto August 2013. Muzaffar Hussain who retired as Managing Director was given a contractual job of the same position since March 2013 and has received Rs. 6, 00, 000 plus pension upto August this year. Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Reshi who superannuated as Associate Professor (Anaesthesia) was re-employed in his same position for one more year from March 1, 2013. Dr. Reshi has received Rs. 4, 80, 000 as salary upto August this year. Dr. M Ahsan who retired as Associate Professor (Opthalomology) was re-employed in his same position for one more year from March 1, 2013 and he has received Rs. 4, 80, 000 upto August 2013. Dr. Nalni Seru who superannuated as Associate Professor (Anatomy) was re-employed in her same position for one more year from March 1, 2013. Dr. Seru has received Rs. 3, 60, 000 as salary upto August 2013. Dr. Neeru Gupta who retired as Professor (Psychology) was re-employed in her own position from March 1, 2013. Dr. Gupta has received Rs. 7, 85, 000 as salary upto August this year.
