| Mahila Cong president assures equal development for all | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 20: In continuation with her programme of reaching to the workers in every panchayat a meeting was organized at Tarlokpur Panchayat by Congress Mahila president Indu Pawar.
While addressing she said that Congress party is a movement right from its formation in 1885 and its great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Tilak, Madam Cama, Nehru, Shastri, Rajiv and Sonia have led these movement besides being part of mass of this nation. Congress has always stood through thick & thin with its country men and has brought India to present state of development in industries, agriculture, education & development of human resources etc.
Equal development, communal harmony & protection of interests of oppressed & depressed classes are the main slogan and Congress is practically implementing all these principles in letter & spirit.
The local issues of development and progress and providing respectful living to all citizens will always get performance and all efforts shall be made to mitigate problems of 'Aam Admi'.
She requested workers to identify such scheme of common welfare so that funds are arranged from the Government Development agencies for executing same. She assured women workers to discuss problems in special Gram Sabha meetings in next few weeks in association with district administrations & requested women workers to prepare detail for such issues in gram sabha. The meeting was also a addressed by Shamsher Lal youth president, Vicky gen. secy. Nitin, Sarbjit.
