Congress to emerge single largest party in 2014 elections: Soz

Srinagar, Oct 20 : PCC President, Professor Saifuddin Soz Sunday asserted that Congress would emerge as the single largest party in 2014 Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Soz while addressing a well attended function organized to welcome some prominent personalities in the Congress party said that joining of prominent people having acceptability among the public shows that congress party has become a vibrant political force in all the three regions of the state and that the joining of such people will certainly have an impact on the electoral politics. Pertinently eleven 'prominent figures' including some former ministers and bureaucrats formally joined the Congress at party Headquarters in Srinagar today. Soz while welcoming all the new entrants reiterated that Congress would emerge as the single largest party in forthcoming Assembly elections.
Soz hoped that newly entrants would further make the party robust and vibrant and would serve the people of the State selflessly.
These leaders included Gulam Hassan Geelani (Ex. Minister), Farooq A. Renzu (Former Director of Information), Tafazul Hussain (Ex. Vice President J&K Bank), Wali Mohd Dar Retd S.E. R&B, Shiekh G. M. Gulzar (Retd. Officer Rural Development), Bashir Ahmad Shah Sr. Political Activist and Sarpanch Kichhama), Senior Political Leaders Gulam Hassan Rather, Abdul Rashid Malla (Ex. Chairman M.C, Baramulla), Mushtaq Ahmad Bazaz, Waseem Shalla.
Prof. Soz introduced these leaders as dynamic Social Activist and the ones who appreciate Congress party as a secular force in the Country. Prof. Soz congratulated these prominent leaders and thanked the audience whole-heartedly for their enthusiasm and dedication. Prof. Soz revealed that very soon a function like this would be organized to welcome youth and others- leaders into the fold of the Congress Party in hundreds. Prof. Soz asserted that he had proved his point that Congress Party had become a vibrant situation in all the three regions of the state.
Those who addressed the gather included Mohd Muzaffar Parray, MLC, Gulam Nabi Monga MLC Bashir Magrey MLC( Vice Presidents) & Abdul Gani Khan and ors.Soz asserted that he had proved his point that Congress Party had become a vibrant political force in all the three regions of the state.
The new entrants said that they would join Prof. Soz in his mission of dedicated service to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Farooq Ahmed Renzu said that Congress party is the only party in the State which could ensure peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. "Congress does not believe in hollow slogans and it means business. Congress party would change the destiny of people and would help them to lead a peaceful and prosperous life," Renzu said.
