NC's contradiction, Kamaal style: Renzu should thank Omar Says, despite being 'incompetent' NC offered him coveted posts 10/20/2013 11:53:08 PM Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 20: Frustrated over the master move of Congress in accepting erstwhile loyalists of NC into the party fold, the NC stalwart is now trying desperately to paint their image in bad light, forgetting brazenly how the NC leadership which pampered and exploited them utill they decided to join the Congress. Labeling former bureaucrat and Congress leader Farooq Ahmed Renzu as opportunist, National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr Shiekh Mustafa Kamaal today said that Renzu should thank NC especially Omar Abdullah who appointed him Director Information twice despite the fact that he was not deserving the coveted post. By saying so Kamaal is only trying to justify its ill conceived and badly implemented decisions, no matter these affected a wider section in many wrong ways. "It was our party which appointed Renzu Vice Chairman Srinagar Development Authority and Director Information. Lot of people used to complaint about his (Renzu's) corrupt practices but we tolerated him and now he is claiming to be the tallest leader of Congress party," Kamaal told a news agency. Kamaal while saying so forgets conveniently as to what was the hidden agenda and motive of NC in taking him twice on the post if, according to him, he was incompetent. Kamaal said that Renzu indulged in malpractices while serving as VC SDA. "People are complaining about him. This man is claiming that NC victimized him. I think it was the dream of Renzu to cling with the chair of Director Information. He was never part of NC and he should not give an impression that NC victimized him," Kamaal said.
