Kathua, Oct 20: Kuldeep Singh Physical Education Master was unanimously elected as district president of the Youth Services and Sports Field Staff Association district Kathua.
According to press release, a meeting of Physical Education masters and teachers held at Dayala Chack in which office bearers were elected.
Those others elected were Sukesh Kumar Sharma PEM Gen Sec., Parveen Singh PET Secretary, Mohan Lal PEM Asstt Sec, Ganesh Dutt PEM Sr Vice President, Joginder Kumar PEM Vice President, Manohar Lal PEM Cashier, Sartaj Singh PEM Press and Publicity Sec.
SEECC demands
regularization of incharge

Kathua, Oct 20: Provincial President School Education Employees Co Ordination Committee Jammu Amar Nath Thakur has urged authorities to regularize all Incharge Principals, ZEO's, I/c lecturers, Physical Education Lecturers, ZPEO's who were not regularized till date. He said that all the incharge lecturers in Arts stream have been regularized but I/c lecturers in the Science stream were awaiting the same. He sought the regularization of all those seniors who were senior in the final seniority list of masters, teachers of 2011 but were not promoted as I/c lecturers and their juniors promoted as I/c lecturers upto 2009 have been regularized as lecturers and now they are promoted as I/c Lecturers in arts streams.
He also urged Director School Education Jammu to Issue the regularization list of all EVs who have completed seven years in service and have submitted their files for regularization to the concerned CEO's of Jammu Province for onward submission to the office of DSE Jammu. These ReT's have completed their five years in service as ReT Teacher hence should be regularized.

Kathua, Oct 20: Police today recovered 58 rounds of bullets hidden in an agricultural field in the border district of Kathua.
Manohar Lal spotted a bag while working in his field in Sadachak-Kagwal area of Rajpora border belt and informed police, a police officer said. During the search, 58 rounds of bullets of 7.62 mm rifle were found, he said.
40 pouches of illicit liquor recovered

Akhnoor, Oct 20: Police today arrested Kamal Jeet of Kodaywala, Akhnoor and recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
