| Reasi, Oct 24: DIET Reasi organized essay writing competition on 'Moral Values and Ethics' at district level. Students from different zones of the district participated in this event and expressed their views on the importance of morals and ethics in society. Chief Guest of the occasion, Sushma Verma, HoD, in her address, spoke in detail about the role of morals in building up of the character of an individual and also about the responsibility of teachers towards achieving this goal. Winners of the event included, Shubhangi Suri from HSS, Bharakh, Sonali Devi from HSS Salal and Sajjad Hussain from HSS Arnas in English, Hindi and Urdu language respectively. Prominent among others included Smt. Vidyotama Gupta, HoD, Kalp Lata HoD, RC Sharma, sr. lecturer and Pritam Kumar, lecturer, DIET. Virender Dutta, lecturer DIET, conducted the proceedings of the programme whereas Jaswinder Kour, lecturer acted as programme co-ordinator. |
