SRINAGAR, Oct 24: The Court has issued bailable warrant against the owners of Shaheen Spices for patent infringement i.e. for the duplicity of propriety trade mark of 'P' Mark logo on its products (Masala or spices). Issuing warrant, the Court also summoned them to appear in court on next date of hearing on October 31, 2013 and directed SHO Parimpora that the order is complied.
Puri Oil Mills Limited is the lawful registered user of trade mark "P Mark" under the Trade Mark Act 1958.
Puri Oil Mills Limited, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high grade 'P' Mark mustard oil had filed suit in a Srinagar Court against Shaheen Spices for illegally duplicating its propriety 'P' Mark logo. Puri Oil Mills Limited moved court on July 18, 2013 for legal proceedings. |
