Udhampur, Oct 24: In view of illegal hoarding of crackers by traders, the police continuing its drive against illegal practice arrested one person in this connection and recovered illegally hoarding of crackers worth Rs 1.0 Lakh during a raid at Bus Stand Udhampur.
According to Sources a Police Party from Police Station Udhampur, led by Inspector Deepak Jasrotia, SHO Police Station Udhampur carried out surprise checking and intercepted one suspicious person identified namely as Yashpal son of Jagdeesh Chander of Saley Talab Udhampur.
The accused was arrested on spot after police recovered illegally stored crackers worth Rs one lakhs from a Vehicle EECO Car Bearing Registration Number JK14B-6286.. Police seized crackers and the EECO Car as well, sources said
