| Unemployed veterinarians stage protest | | | Early Times Reports
Jammu, Nov 6: Unemployed veterinarians of Jammu and Kashmir under the banner of Unemployed Veterinarians' Association staged a protest against the state government for filling up vacant posts in the concerned animal and sheep husbandry department. Led by Dr. Ishfaq a large number of unemployed veterinarians participated in the rally and demanded early filling of vacant posts in state animal and sheep husbandry department. They demanded from state government to take some comprehensive and concrete steps to address the grievances of unemployed veterinarians. Dr. Ishfaq demanded from state government that the announcement of vacancies on immediate basis and at same time, the file for creation of 420 new posts should be cleared from the planning and finance departments. "We demand from state government should take the matter with VCI so that the degrees awarded by state universities should be recognized by VCI" said Dr. Ishfaq. |
