| Youth Movement extends support the demand of Aganwari Workers | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 8: Youth Movement extended its support to the genuine demands of Aganwari Workers of district kathua including enhancement in their salary. As per press release, president of the movement Sanjeev Verma said that Aganwari workers had to work round the clock and demanded duty timing from 10 am to 2 pm. He said workers have been working on the salary of Rs 3000 per month which not only a meager amount but also a biggest injustice in this world's largest democratic set up of the country. He said this is extreme exploitation which cannot be allowed in this country, this meager amount has led the economic crisis and many other objectionable practices which surely affect the true sense of the motive of the ICDS projects. These workers must be given status of permanent employees with genuine and rightful salary packages like other permanent Government employees and this genuinely requested to the prime minister and chief minister by the Youth Movement to take positive and productive step in favour of these suffering workers so that they could be justified and survived with respect and dignity, he added. |
