| 'Police reportedly cracks minor's murder mystery | | | Et Report
Rajouri, Nov 8: Police claimed to have solved the blind murder mystery of 8th class student who was found dead in general forest area od Kotdhara Rajouri on October11, police sources said. The body of Omar Rehaman , 15 years was found hanging with a tree in a forest near village Kotdhara, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajouri, the victim (Omar) had gone to village Kotdhara to his uncle's residence on first day i.e. October 10. As per sources few people close to the family were involved in the heinous crime and it is expected that senior police officers would be disclosing their identity possibly on Saturday after completion of all the legal formalities.All attempts to get details about the accused turned futile as senior police officers remained unavailable and others remained tight lipped about the disclosure of identity of the accused involved in the cold blooded murder of minor boy -son of one Abdul Rehman an employee with CISF posted at Mumbai. Here it needs to mention that police had faced tough times and has sought time from the protesting family and relatives of deceased and it took more than three weeks to solve the mystery of murder of minor. The case was first investigated by police team lead by SHO Rajouri and later it was handed over to Ayaz Sheikh DySP (Operations) Rajouri. |
