Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 8: Panchayat Empowerment Committee (PEC) and All Jammu and Kashmir NYC State Association today demanded from state government to implement 73rd and 74 Amendments in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing to media persons, PEC president Prikshal Singh said that the demands of panches and sarpanches were not hidden to state and centre government.
"Separate election commission, separate finance commission and three tier systems for panchayat and also provide justice to NYC youth" Singh demanded. He said that the state government was unable to implement those amendments in Jammu and Kashmir by showing Act 370 the main hurdle in the way. "To re organize the system of rural development department as it is as same as it was in 1956" said Singh.
