Bhaderwah, Nov 9: A legal awareness camp was held today in the premises of District Court Complex Bhaderwah on the eve of World Legal Day in which hundreds of people from all walks of life participated . The camp was organized by District Legal Aid Services Authority (DLASA), Bhaderwah. The Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bhaderwah M K Sharma , who is also the Chairman DLASA, inaugurated the camp and also threw light on the importance of the day . Kamlesh Pandita Sub Judge and Mayank Gupta Munsif Bhaderwah and advocates also spoke on the occasion. They stressed on the importance of legal awareness and asked participants to make everyone aware about the legal rights. Speakers also threw light on Rights of Children, Child Labour Act, Juvenile Justice Act, Right of Children to free and compulsory education and other legislations made for the care, protection and development of children and different schemes launched by NALSA and SLSA for the benefit of people. Rector Bhaderwah Campus Prof M A Malik and SDPO Jameel Ahmed were also present on the occasion. |
