PDP starts election campaign for Udhampur- Doda Lok Sabha seat

Ramnagar, Nov 9: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today kick start its election campaign for the Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha by organizing a workers meeting at Ramnagar which was later turned into a public rally due to the over-whelming response of the people.
The workers meeting was organized by local PDP leader N D Wani in which party candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat Arshad Malik and other senior leaders were also present.
It was all due to the over-whelming response of common masses towards PDP that the workers convention turned into a big public meeting which was addressed by all senior leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, PDP candidate Arshad Malik said that his party has been contesting Lok Sabha elections to effectively and vociferously take up peoples' issue in the Parliament.
While seeking support for the party, Malik said that PDP is the genuine and credible voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He further added that policies and programmes of PDP were formulated by accommodating wishes and aspirations of all sections of the society.
Expressing his gratitude towards people of Ramnagar, who turned out in large number of participate in launching of election campaign for the party, Malik said that it is result of the convictions and commitment of leadership of PDP that people of Jammu and Kashmir have connected themselves with this party. "There is feeling among people that PDP is their genuine voice", he said and assured that people that PDP would come up to the expectations of the common masses.
Malik also availed this opportunity to expose Omar Abdullah led coalition government in the State. He said that during the last five years this dispensation has done nothing to solve day today problems of the people. "The state government has become a non performing liability due to its misdeeds and mis-governance", he said and hoped that people of the State would give a befitting reply to this government in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
N D Wani, Shakil Bhat, Hamid Sheikh, Amarjeet Singh, Master Ravinder Sharma, Faizal Magray, Mohan Lal, Ashok Sharma, Ishaq Khan, Mohammad Shafi, Manoj Sharma, Prem Chand, Aijaz Sumberia, Shoukat and others also spoke on the occasion.
