| VHP furious over Aziz’s meeting with Kashmiri separatists | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 11 : Launching a scathing attack on Central Government, the state unit of Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) today alleged that the country is being run in a casual manner as the UPA has lowered India's prestige by allowing by Pakistan PM's Advisor Sartaz Aziz to meet Kashmiri separatist leaders. Addressing a press conference here today, State VHP President Dr. Ramakant Dubey said that in what capacity separatists of Kashmir like Mirwaiz Farooq, Yasin Malik, Sayed Ali Shah Gilani and Aysia Andrabi were called in the Pak embassy and parleys held with them by Sartaz Aziz, who had come here to attend the Foreign Ministers' conference of Asian & European Union. Dubey said that it is really surprising that a foreign nation's representative holds a meeting in our capital and discusses Kashmir issue with them. How Sartaz Aziz called these separatists without the permission of our Foreign Ministry, he added. VHP leader further said that it seems honour and prestige of the country has no meaning for our Central Government. "Hardly an opportunity is missed when Pak Government does not go against the international protocols. This proves that our leaders at Centre have crossed all limits of shamelessness just for the sake of chair. They have become habitual of "shoe slapping" and still vowing before the enemies," he said. Dr Dubey suggested that our Foreign Minister Salman Khursheed should watch and work for the interests of Pak Government otherwise how a foreign national can speak against our country at our own soil. |
