| JMC bulldozer smashes unauthorized structures at Nanak Nagar | | | Et Report
Jammu, Nov 11: Continuing its drive under the supervision of Kiran Wattal, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to make 'clean Jammu' by demolition of illegal encroachment and unauthorized constructions besides carrying out sanitation campaigns JMC Team today demolished under construction building at Nanak Nagar, Jammu.Official spokesperson said that Kiran Wattal, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) alongwith Chief Enforcement Officer and others today visited a construction site where an illegal construction was ongoing along the outer edge of the nallah in violation of norms set by the Sewerage & Drainage Department. "The violator though produced building permission but it was not matching with the ground position with respect to site plan and existing nallah, spokesperson said and added that the illegal construction was bulldozed to allow smooth flow of sewage water without any hindrance.
JMC official also added that enforcement team also removed the unauthorized encroachment of public lane in A/D Block which has been made despite repeated warning to the violator and previous action taken in anti-encroachment drive during "Cleanup Jammu" campaign. "The illegal Rehris selling Tobacco and other products were also seized from the market in Gandhi Nagar area, he added. |
